Our 2024 Top Three Spring Cocktails
SPRING! In addition to flowers and blooming and all of that, it’s finally time for sips in the sunshine! All those botanicals have us thinking of one thing: fabulous gin cocktails! Are you ready for batched cocktails in the park, afternoon get-togethers in the backyard, and couple’s at-home happy hours? After this blog, you will be…
Our #1 at-home happy hour staple: the classic Negroni.
The recipe is simple - though it’s more an equilateral triangle of deliciousness.
- 1½ ounce Gin
- ¾ ounce Campari
- 1 ounce Sweet Vermouth
- Garnish with a single orange peel
As always you can make swaps based on your mood and taste - try mezcal instead of gin or Cynar or Lillet Blanc instead of Campari.
The perfect tools for this cocktail: Try the Old Fashioned Bar Set or the Sidecar Bar Tool Set.
Enjoying an afternoon in the backyard? Kickstart it with some gimlets!
- 2 ½ ounces of Gin
- ¾ ounce of lime juice
- ¾ ounce of simple syrup
- Garnish with a lime wheel or rosemary
This recipe is also a pretty kickin’ ranch water - just swap the gin for tequila. And add some soda water, if you must. Yum!
The perfect tools for this cocktail: Head outside with the Barkeep Roll Up Kit or the 10-Piece Bar Tool Kit
Got pals coming over and need to batch up something delicious? Invite your old friend Tom Collins over as well.
- 2 ounces Gin
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- Soda water to taste.
- Lemon or orange wheel and a cherry for garnish
Don’t forget the ice!
Pour a long Tom Collins with the help of the Madison Acacia Tabletop Bar Set or the Hamilton Portable Cocktail Bar.
